Raising awareness

The Foundation's mission is to contribute to basic education in some of the poorest countries of the world. The Foundation also helps introduce elementary schoolchildren in Canada to international realities. Through its awareness-raising activities, the Foundation hopes to provide children in elementary schools with a wider vision of the world. Working closely with their teachers, the Foundation wishes to help our children realize the importance of such values as solidarity and sharing.

La Dictée P.G.L.
Each year, the Foundation organizes La Dictée P.G.L. for Canadian schoolchildren. La Dictée P.G.L. aims to improve the quality of written French while introducing children to international realities. Themes are carefully chosen to further these objectives, giving this educational activity a much larger scope than a simple school exercise in French dictation. Among educational activities offered to elementary schools, La Dictée P.G.L. is among those that generate the most interest and participation throughout Canada.
